Colby and Madey met the spring of 2021 in the Covid days of college. Madey was a student assistant for Physics 1403 and Colby ended up in the same section she was teaching. The first time Colby saw Madey, he told the group he was sitting with that he was going to marry her. They told him to try to get a date with her first! After two semesters of Colby constantly flirting with Madey, asking for tutoring, and asking her for her phone number over email, Madey finally said yes to a date and the rest is history.
