Madeline &amp; Chet both grew up in St. Louis, MO and both went to Arkansas for college, but only first locked eyes in their mid-twenties back home at a local dive, Midwestern. It was the night after Thanksgiving &amp; Chet's band was playing that night. Madeline was out with friends who begged her to meet this guy. "He's so nice, you guys are going to hit it off." Well they met, shoes were complimented, numbers were exchanged &amp; Chet abruptly walked away. The rest was history. Drake &amp; Josh's mom was right. Chet observantly recognized Madeline's passion for fashion &amp; the shoe compliment strategy worked! They went on their first date the night after Christmas (Madeline had to play a little hard to get) &amp; were immediately excited for more. With a few trips to Florida &amp; several ice cream runs under their belt they became boyfriend &amp; girlfriend. They began to realize hobbies can be fun, but doing them with your best friend &amp; biggest fan is even better. Traveling, attending concerts, trying new restaurants, hitting the gym, going on long walks, cooking new recipes &amp; going to movies just got a whole lot sweeter! After dating for 3 years, C+M went on yet another trip to their favorite place on the Emerald Coast in Flordia in late spring. While enjoying paradise, Madeline decided to work from "home" on one of her vacation days, little did she know that day would change her life forever. After a long day in the "office", Chet told her to get ready for a fancy dinner in a nearby city. As she was slapping on some blush, her stomach started to hurt. Uh oh. Chet comforted her &amp; while wiping the sweat from his white brow. She pulled it together, threw on a cute dress, popped some Tums &amp; walked out the door to go watch a little pre-dinner beachside sunset. "Let's walk to a new pavilion to watch the sunset right around 6:30" Chet suggested...."The sun doesn't set until 7:11". Madeline retorted in classic fashion. She was beginning to have an idea of why her tummy was hurting. It was happening. As they made their way to their favorite spot on the sandy white beach, they finished their drinks &amp; shot the breeze without giving anything away. As they climbed the stairs of the walkover onto the beach, Madeline's face lit up seeing a true Nicholas Sparks moment when she reached the peak. Chet had prepared a wedding proposal at sunset complete with a photographer, champagne, flowers &amp; their favorite playlist at Madeline's favorite place on earth. He popped the question, they popped the champagne &amp; excitedly continued their best date yet. They got engaged on April 18th, and now they need the people they love most to help them make it official and celebrate. They cannot WAIT to commit their lives to each other with the most important people in their lives and dance the night away &lt;3

The STL Italian Neighborhood!! Chet and Madeline fostered their love while Madeline lived on the Hill. Our ceremony will take place in this neighborhood. Some of our favorite spots:- Antonino's Taverna (BEST pizza)- Gelato di Riso (enjoy next to the fountain)- Milos (local dive)- The Missouri Baking Company (our favorite bakery)- Rigazzi's (home of the beer fishbowls)- The Hill Antique Market (Madeline's second home)
