It all started when Maddy decided to go back to school for her Master's in Elementary Education, in Denver, CO beginning in the summer of 2021. When she found out she was moving to Colorado in February 2021, she quickly switched her Hinge location from Chicago, IL to Denver, CO.

On March 28th, 2021, Maddy made the first move by commenting on Jason's hilarious "mantra" about tomatoes and wisdom. They chatted for a couple of months before Jason could finally take Maddy out on a date on June 3rd at the View House. Things went so well that a month later, Jason made it official – they were a couple!

They signed their first apartment lease in July 2022, and Jason knew Maddy was the one when he popped the question on February 4th, 2023, on top of Crested Butte Mountain. Almost a year later, they decided to ditch the lease and bought their first home together just after Christmas 2023. And they are loving every minute of their new home. Maddy and Jason can't wait to tie the knot and officially become Mr. and Mrs. on July 6, 2024!!
