In 2018, Christopher and Madeline met when she tutored him for his English class during summer school. They were friends for a while and dated briefly at 16.

Fast forward three years, after being friends for a while and going out for a few months, Chris asked Madeline out the night of October 25th of 2021. They had taken a scenic drive and snuck into the top of Saint Albans to see the sunset overlooking the Missouri River. Chris had taken advantage of the beautiful scenery and romantic night to ask Madeline out and was met with a resounding "yes!".

From then on, their lives have changed many times from changing career paths to finishing school. Embracing life's new opportunities and changes around the corner, they have moved to Saint Charles for Madeline's schooling and then to Foley after buying their new house. They have spent many hours with their dog, Harlow, and even added a new member to their family, a puppy named Wiley.

The day they bought their first home together was already monumental, but the fact that Chris also proposed to Madeline on that very same day? That was something truly magical. After moving all of their belongings into the house, getting Chris's truck stuck in the front yard, and being poured on through it all, Christopher relentlessly asked Madeline to take a picture in front of their new home. What Madeline didn't know was that the key ring wasn't the only ring she would receive that day. In the pouring rain, Christopher got down on one knee and asked Madeline to marry him. He heard the same resounding "Yes" as he heard three years prior.

It was a day full of love, new beginnings, and a sense of adventure for what's to come. Today, they are loving their life with their two dogs in Foley and counting down the days until their wedding next year!
