Kelsey is Maddie’s college roommate and best friend! Kesh and Maddie were sorority sisters, led YoungLife together, and spend their days blowing up each other’s phones.  While they’ll miss their nightly kitchen chats, both are excited to be celebrating this year as they each get married! A Charlotte native, Kelsey is crafty, thoughtful, and a friend to everyone. She's also starting her career as a nurse so look out for her getting clinical on the dance floor!

After being paired to live together at Oak House, the guy’s ministry house at Elon, Ryan and Cooper became fast friends. They love talking college hoops, playing games, and have logged a million hours of golf together (on the real course and on the Wii). Every year they spend the opening weekend of March Madness together. Look out for him doing the sprinkler on the dance floor!

Grace and Maddie met living in Carolina Hall their first year at Elon and quickly bonded through choosing the same major, same sorority, and same apartment for their sophomore year. They love going on walks, staying up all night talking, and unintentionally matching outfits. Grace is incredibly fun, loves making new friends, and is always ready to talk about her beloved dog, Cyndi Lauper.

John is Cooper’s brother, the only person in the family who can sing, and a talented stand-up comic. John was the first official groomsman as Cooper asked him over a glass of Watt Whiskey the same night of his engagement. The boys have shared many great memories growing up together and Cooper is honored to have his brother up there for such an important day in his life.

Charlotte is Maddie’s friend of 10 years, and now her sister-in-law! Maddie was so excited when her childhood theater friend officially became family and over the past year, they’ve loved sharing holidays and game nights together. Charlotte is creative, thoughtful, and caring—and if you spot an adorable baby over the weekend, that’s Max & Charlotte’s son (and Maddie’s nephew!).

The first time Cooper met Walker was in an IM flag football game at Elon. Armed with receiver gloves, Cooper swatted a ball out of Walker’s hands, looked him in the eyes and yelled, “NO FLY ZONE.” They did not know at that moment that they'd become best friends. Since then, they also spend every March Madness together and are an unstoppable golfing duo. If you need to talk to a lawyer over the weekend, Walker is your guy.

Sarah is another one of the Carolina Hall girls! You can find Sarah and Maddie reminiscing on their travels around France together or discussing the latest celebrity news in detail. Sarah is the life of the party and a former member of the Elon Dance Team, so get ready to see her skills on the dance floor!

Another Oak House boy, Joey and Cooper have maintained a strong friendship over the years, despite his decision to attend the evil Georgetown University for medical school. Joey loves games, dancing, cooking, and getting everyone together for a good time. If you get kicked in the face on the dance floor, it’s probably Joey lifting up Cooper to do a fireman’s carry.

Rose was one of Maddie and Cooper’s YoungLife teammates, along with her husband, Grady. They quickly became close friends and now share just about everything—including clothes! A true hostess extraordinaire, Rose loves a good game night, dinner party, or any excuse to gather people around her table. After so many adventures together, Maddie's so excited to have Rose by her side for the biggest one yet!

Cooper and Grady were fellow Oak boys building marble race tracks, watching Face/Off, and getting up to all types of pranks/shenanigans. They led Young Life College together, neither knowing that both of their wives were on their team with them! Grady has been on an epic trip to Skaneateles with Cooper before so he is fired up to be going back. He's a firefighter so if you see any smoke this weekend, give him a shout!

Sam and Maddie met on the first day of Spanish class their freshman year at Elon. Who knew that awkward first meeting would turn into years of swapping books, sleepovers in Maddie’s dorm, and cheering Sam on through ½ marathon training. Sam is a science genius, corn hole ace, and incredible chef so ask her about what she has been cooking!

When Cooper moved back to Burlington, he and Jack became the ultimate birdy (double-bogey) buddies. He is the best waiter Magerks has ever seen and will be talking smack during any competition over the weekend. He makes everything more fun and when you see him, make sure you hand him a Long Drink and congratulate his Commanders on finally having a quarterback.

Maya is Maddie’s friend from her high school theater days! From beach trips to visiting each other at college to Maya’s own wedding day last year, they’ve shared more memories than they can count. Now they enjoy FaceTime catch ups and visiting each other for girls weekends and are so excited to add the wedding day to their collection of memories!

Jack was an honorary Oak House boy and spent every day playing pool there senior spring. When Cooper wasn’t telling Jack to rack 'em, they were both making plays on the Big Burlington Brand flag football team. Since college, they’ve enjoyed playing Catan and hanging in Maine where Jack got married. Jack is one of the kindest people out there so be sure to say hello and talk with him this weekend!

Maddie’s freshman year roommate-turned-lifelong best friend, Kyla is intentional, caring, and always down for just about anything. She loves people well, gives the best advice, and loves an inappropriate joke. Another genius of the group, Kyla's now in PA school at Elon!

Garrett, Cooper, and Cranston lived together in Burlington when Garrett moved to NC. Cooper and Garrett shred the gnar together every MLK weekend and shared High Noons on a 4th of July trip to Maine. Garrett is going to bring the ruckus and keep the vibes up all weekend. Make sure you say what up and go Mountaineers to this WV legend!

A great spot for coffee and a breakfast treat! The cinnamon bun and cinnamon sugar donuts are standouts. Their sandwiches also make for a great lunch. Justin Bieber visited 3 times on his 2018 Skaneateles vacation.

Doug's is a cozy dive that is a pillar of downtown Skaneateles. Grab a hearty sized fish sandwich, fries, tenders, onion rings, and delicious milkshakes. Make sure you grab a free bumper sticker and snap a pic with it!

Explore Skaneateles Lake! Clift Park is a great place for public swimming, a picnic, and a walk down the pier. If you really want to get on the water, book a sightseeing tour on the Judge Ben Wiles boat linked below. Sightseeing cruises are bookable online on the Mid-Lakes Navigation website.

Come grab a drink at the LakeHouse Pub! Not only is it great for a beer or cocktail, but you can grab some tasty pub food as well! They are famous for their beef on weck.

The best place for some merch from your trip is Roland's in downtown Skaneateles! They have great designs that will have you remembering your trip for years to come. If you want a blast from the past, there is a fantastic antique store next door as well as plenty of other fun shops throughout the town such as Drooz, Nest 58, and more!

A great place to eat if you are looking for good food by the water! Town can get busy so it might be smart to call in advance! Other good dinner options downtown could be Gilda's, Moro's Kitchen, and Elephant and the Dove.

Blue Water Grill

An annual labor day weekend tradition, the Fireman's Field days include a carnival, food, music, and an antique car show. The carnival takes place in the Austin Park pavilion and parking lot, a 30 second walk from Cooper's childhood home.

If you're looking for a quick nine with no tee time required, this is your place. Enjoy 7 par 3s and 2 par 4s that give you a great opportunity to dial in your short game. This is the site of Maddie's historic first par!

Pearl Lakes Golf Course & Driving Range

Located in the farmland next to Skaneateles Lake, Carpenter falls is a fun option for those looking for a chill hike/outdoor adventure. Trail information is listed on the website below.

The 1911 Tasting Room is a taste of the finger lakes with their delicious hard ciders and spirits. Explore the orchards, have some delicious treats, and enjoy a smooth cider!

The New York State Fair is the oldest state fair in the county and is also one of the largest. Enjoy food, rides, entertainment, and the largest butter sculpture you have ever seen.

Just 30 minutes from Skaneateles is Seneca Falls, the birthplace of Woman's Rights. In addition to being where the women's suffrage movement began, this picturesque town was Frank Capra's inspiration for the fictional town in the holiday classic, It's a Wonderful Life.
