In 2016, Madeline and Curtis’s paths crossed at the then-named Prairie Life Fitness Center. They worked side by side in courtesy services, folding towels — a surprisingly romantic task. They shared a love for working out and unwinding during late-night happy hours at Blue Sushi Sake Grill. Their journey together progressed as Curtis completed his NSP academy training.

By 2019, the couple had settled in Seward, Nebraska. Curtis served as a State Trooper, and Madeline pursued her nursing degree, later graduating. They both dedicated themselves to community service, with Madeline at the Seward hospital and Curtis at the Seward County Sheriffs Office.

The year 2021 saw Madeline and Curtis purchasing a home in Bee, Nebraska, which soon welcomed two new feline members, Tootsie and Victor.

In 2023, they celebrated the arrival of Scarlett, a joyous addition who has been a blessing to the family. Scarletts presence has been life-altering. Madeline and Curtis eagerly anticipate the growth of their family.
