Our story is a long one, but we wouldn't want it any other way! Here's to a story that goes on and on forever!

Maddie and Daniel first met when Daniel wandered past Maddie's open dorm-room door, early freshman year of college. If you know Daniel, you might be able to guess that what followed next was a long and random conversation!

To be honest, they did not think about each other very often after that...

That is... until Sophomore year! Thanks to a little bit of chance, and a little bit of modern day social media, Maddie and Daniel started talking, and they didn't stop for 24 hours straight.

On December 15th, 2016, they went on their first date! While wandering the Riverwalk and looking at Christmas lights, they both knew this was something special.

But of course, the best things in life do not come easy. After a month of talking, Daniel broke things off (finding the love of your life can be scary!) Maddie (being the independent woman she was) tried her best to ignore him, but Daniel was insistent on remaining in her life. Despite his silly 19 year old self, Maddie knew that Daniel was the one for her, and felt in her heart that he would come around - and she was right! She always is *wink, wink*. A few months later, Daniel planned the most romantic, thoughtful and beautiful do-over date of all time. On May 7th, 2017, a few gummy lifesavers and a late-night piano serenade later, they were an official couple!

Once they were together - absolutely nothing could come between them! Not even Daniel saying "I love you" only a month in ;) (Maddie loved him too, she just didn't know it yet)! Their time dating in college brought them amazing memories, friends that are now family, and lots of opportunities to love each other through life changes!

In 2019 and 2020, they accepted and started their first jobs, and welcomed 3 beautiful fur-babies into their lives (Bailey, Luka, and Twyla). Finally, on January 23rd, 2021, with Covid hopefully in the rearview, Daniel PROPOSED!

Now they CANNOT WAIT to get married!!
