Our Wedding

Our story began in April of 2022. We both were students at Southern Nazarene University, and we were attending a spiritual life retreat. In the line of nine square, Dustyn turned around and introduced himself to Madeline. On the second day of the retreat, Madeline and Dustyn continued talking and both realized they were enjoying getting to know each other. Dustyn later asked Madeline on a coffee date. After several months of date nights, facetimes, and prayer, Dustyn knew she was going to be the one. He was in awe of her character. He saw how she would continually love and help others. It was her heart for the Lord that inspired him. She saw his ambition and leadership, and she knew he would lead her well. Most importantly, she saw his heart for God. He asked her to be his girlfriend in August of 2022. Fast forward a couple more years and it was time for the next step. Dustyn had been planning the proposal for months and Madeline had no clue. On their two year anniversary, Dustyn had the whole day planned out. They drove to the church where they first met at the retreat and then to the lake where he asked her to be his girlfriend. The last stop was another lake and Madeline still had no idea that she was about to get proposed to. They walk towards the lake and she then sees her sister with a camera. This is when it all clicked and she got so excited. He gets down on a knee and pops the question and she of course says, Yes! That leads us to where we are today and we cant wait for our big day! We are so excited to be husband and wife and experience this life together forever.
