Madie and Tyler’s story began back in high school, when Tyler couldn’t help but ask one of Madie’s friends about the beautiful girl who had caught his eye. It wasn’t long before they met in person and started dating—right as Tyler was heading off to college.

They spent nearly two wonderful years together before life led them in different directions at the end of his sophomore year. Though their paths separated, that time apart allowed them both to grow in ways that would one day bring them back together.

Fast forward to the Wednesday before Thanksgiving in 2023. Tyler stopped by The Whole Enchilada, not knowing that fate (and a couple of familiar faces) had plans for him. There, he ran into Madie’s brothers, Nic and Alex, who happened to mention that Madie would be arriving soon. Tyler decided to stick around—and when Madie walked in, it felt like no time had passed at all. They spent the night catching up, sharing stories, and rediscovering the connection that never really left.

Madie mentioned she’d be in Arizona the following week for her new job as a flight attendant, so they met up again—and again over Christmas a few weeks later. From then on, they were inseparable. The love they once shared came rushing back, stronger and deeper than before.
