It may have seemed like an ordinary meeting at the time with a group of friends, but Caleb and Maddie first crossed paths at a Raising Cane’s after a worship night in the fall of 2022. Caleb was there to support his friends, Lee and Juanica, while Maddie had been painting for the event. After exchanging their names, they both parted ways, unaware of the significance of that moment.

In December 2022, Maddie and Caleb attended their mutual friends, Lewis, piano recital. After the event, the group decided to grab a bite together at In-and-Out, where Caleb and Maddie felt a certain chemistry. However, while Caleb seemed to take an interest in Maddie, she didnt reciprocate his feelings.

Calebs Attempt at Romance with Maddie

Following that encounter, Caleb made his moves, one that included striking up a conversation about her favorite topics, art and Jim Carrey. Then one night at a prayer gathering with friends at a coffee shop, Maddie was impressed with Calebs seriousness about his faith and decided she could be friends with him. They ended up watching the movie Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure in a group setting. However, after that night, Caleb attempted to pursue Maddie with his charm, but she started ghosting him.

An Encounter at a Wedding Sparks a New Connection

Caleb and Maddies paths crossed again when they were both part of the wedding party for their mutual friends, Juanica and Lee, as a groomsman and bridesmaid, respectively. The wedding coordinator suggested each bridesmaid and groomsmen pick someone to dance with at the reception. Maddie, who wasnt a big fan of dancing, decided to give it a go with Caleb. As they were waiting for the reception to begin, the two hit it off when sparks started to fly and goofiness between them started to click. They captured this moment in a funny selfie. It was at that moment that Caleb realized he wanted to pursue Maddie. A few weeks later, he asked her out, and Maddie put him to the test for him to plan the entire date, watch her movie she made and wait till she was done traveling to pick a date.

The Moment That Sealed the Deal for Caleb and Maddie

Maddie was still unsure. The first date went as goofy as you expected, even creating a inside joke, “Poop cheese farts.”

Caleb always knew that he wanted to be with Maddie, but it wasnt until one day when she fell asleep on his lap during a nap that she realized her true feelings. In that moment, she knew without a doubt that she could trust him with her heart and envisioned a future together.

Meting the Parents

The first night Caleb met Maddie’s parents, Caleb took the traditional route of asking them for their blessing before he began dating her. With their consent, the couple started dating in September of last year. Two months later, Caleb approached Maddies parents again, this time with the intention of proposing. Her mother worked with Caleb in crafting the perfect ring, which was handmade in India.

In December, Caleb and Maddies parents had the chance to meet each other and immediately hit it off. Sharing a bond through their faith, it was clear that this was a match made in heaven. Everyone enjoyed each others company and it was apparent that Caleb and Maddies future together was sealed.

A Romantic Engagement Plan by Caleb

Caleb was determined to make his proposal to Madeline unforgettable. He collaborated with her girlfriends to lure her to a rooftop bar in the Stockyards of Ft. Worth, where their families and friends had already gathered. When Madeline arrived, her father was waiting to escort her to Caleb, but she didnt see any familiar faces yet, just a bunch of men in cowboy hats! She asked her dad if she was getting married, and he laughed and said no.

Once they reached the balcony, Madelines father handed her to Caleb, and as they gazed at the stunning Ft Worth skyline, he professed his love and got down on one knee to propose. Madeline was thrilled and joyfully said yes!

Now, they are eagerly anticipating their wedding day on June 29th, where they will embark on a new journey together as husband and wife.
