About Our Venue

Just ten miles south of downtown Dallas, you’ll find an unexpected natural wonderland: Trinity River Audubon Center, the gateway to the 6,000‑acre Great Trinity Forest—the largest urban hardwood forest in the entire country. Once an illegal dump site, this reclaimed 120‑acre sanctuary is now bursting with life, from sweeping prairies and shimmering wetlands to bottomland hardwood forests teeming with birds, wildlife, and native plants.

Since opening its doors in 2008 as a flagship National Audubon Society education center, the Trinity River Audubon Center has welcomed visitors into nature not just to admire it—but to be inspired to protect it. Its innovative focus on hands‑on, place‑based learning has influenced nature education across the country. And for us, it's the beautiful place where we get to say “I do.”
