Our Story
On June 26th, 2021, Tommy and Maddy met at "Buzzer", an annual party hosted by the Frering's. Although they had both been at "Buzzer" before, they had never crossed paths.
Some may say the "moms" talked to Tommy about Maddy the night before...
Tommy introduced himself to Maddy leading with, "My mom told me to talk to you" followed later in the night by "Will you fill out this survey?" as he handed over his phone open to a blank contact.
September 05, 2021
After a few dinner dates meeting halfway between Southbury, CT and Coventry, RI, Maddy visits Tommy for the first time in Rhode Island.
October 02, 2021
Maddy and Tommy at a car show in RI where Maddy tells Tommy, "if I'm going to keep visiting you in RI, you're going to have to come home and meet my parents."
October 23, 2021
Tommy came home to Southbury to meet the family. Maddy's mom described him as "kind of quiet" when they first met.

Merry Christmas!! Maddy surprises Tom Tom with tickets to see Luke Combs.

One of Maddy's favorite movies is Good Will Hunting. One of her favorite lines is "I gotta go see about a girl." In January, Tommy moved back home to Southbury. They went on their first trip together to New Hampshire.

Tommy may have went to "see about a girl" but they didn't forget some of their first and favorite memories spent together in RI on the lake with family.

...And their second at the Outer Banks. Maddy shares with Tommy that she always dreamt she would get married in OBX on the beach. It is her happy place.

Vacation again at Lake Winnipesaukee! Tommy repeatedly plays their new favorite song, "Rock" by Hardy while Maddy occasionally flashes her bare ring finger and shrugs her shoulders.
