Shelby and Maddie have been best friends since early in college (think Ann Perkins and Leslie Knope from Parks and Rec). In college, Shelby and Maddie had many adventures together, including week-long camping trips, Zach Bryan concerts, and a margarita party (or two...). Shelby has since pursued adventures in Texas and Nevada but has had Maddie's back through it all. Maddie is so thankful to have her soul sister by her side on her big day.

Matt met both Sam and Reece at the local jiu jitsu gym four years ago, and the trio quickly became good friends. (Real friends choke each other for fun, obviously). When they're not on the mat, they can be found at shooting competitions or talking politics. If any group is most likely to survive the apocalypse, you would want to bet your money on them.

Ashley and Maddie also met during college. Thankfully, the struggles of Geomorph just brought these two "rock friends" closer together. After graduation, Ashley convinced Maddie to come work with her at Tetra Tech. Maddie did not expect that the job would be trudging through landfills, but there is no one else she would rather talk trash with.

Hayden and Matt have been close friends since high school. You need to be well-versed in classic rock and cult classic movies if you want to fit in with these two (Ni!). From grueling cross-country meets to an entire week of eating solely MREs, Hayden and Matt have experienced many challenges together, but their friendship always makes for a fun time.

Colby and Maddie were pre-school friends back in the day. After pre-school, they weren't reconnected until a CNA course in 2017 brought them back together. If you've ever met Colby, her contact entry for Maddie as "butt-scrubbing buddy" will not surprise you. Colby can most definitely be described as the life of the party, and Maddie is always grateful for her sense of humor and honest opinions.

Tara and Maddie *also* met during college (have you noticed a Geology theme, here?). Tara and Maddie have conquered cacti in New Mexico, hammocked in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, and ate poutine in Canada. Maddie and Tara were also roommates their senior year, and Maddie will always be thankful for the one-of-a-kind memories they made together.

Matt and Brandon have been friends since high school. Even though Matt went to college in North Dakota, the two stayed in touch by playing videogames together. Some of their best memories were made in Mexico and the Dominican Republic (there may also be some forgotten memories... they can thank tequila for those). Whenever they see each other, they can pick back up where they left off, and Matt is thankful for their friendship.

Danny is Maddie's younger (but not littler) brother. You could say they have been friends for pretty much their whole lives. With their parents, they spent a lot of their childhoods out on the water, going fishing almost every weekend. When they were younger, Danny could often be found with his finger stuck in an oarlock, spilling candy in the boat, and throwing poles in the water. Today, he is still a bit of a troublemaker but is guaranteed to outfish his older sister. Maddie is so proud of who Danny is growing up to be and can't wait to see where life takes him.

Dillon is Matt's younger brother. Some of their favorite childhood memories were made tubing at their family cabin. As they got older, Matt graduated to waterskiing, and Dillon took over driving the boat. In 2022, the family and Maddie went out to Montana to visit family around Christmastime. Dillon, Matt, and Maddie made a gigantic snowman in the front yard (it was at least seven feet tall). You would think after 20+ years of experience with Montana winters that the two boys would be able to roll snowballs, but Maddie had to show them how it's done. Matt is grateful for having a brother like Dillon.

Britt and Maddie have been friends since middle school. In high school they were doubles partners in tennis, and they even lived together for a year in college. When times were tough, Maddie could always count on Britt to cut and dye her hair accordingly. Britt has been there for Maddie through thick and thin, and Maddie is so thankful for Britt's friendship. Maddie also knows that no matter how much time passes, the two of them will not be inclined to resign to maturity.
