The town of Breckenridge is one of my favorites as it has great local beer, vendors, and restaurants!
Saturday after the wedding? Another favorite! Frisco, Colorado is located 45 minutes away from Idaho Springs. It is one of the most charming Main Streets in Colorado! Enjoy the mountain views while shopping, and definitely grab some local ice cream.
Golden Gate Canyon State Park is located 35 minutes from the venue. There are over 35 miles of hiking trails in the park making a total of 12 trails. Mountain bikes and road bikes are welcome!

Saturday after the wedding? Golden, CO is located 33 minutes from Idaho Springs. If you're ready to get out of the elevation, this charming town has a lot to offer.
