It was April 21, 2018 at a tailgate for the Penn State Blue & White spring game. They had both been at PSU for the last four years, but this was the first time they had met... a week before graduation.

Connor was talking to Madeline's best friend Hayley - once he told her he was from Connecticut, she pulled Madeline over and said "your brother would like him." A bold statement that turned out to be true. Connor proceeded to get Madeline's number on the flip phone that he had been using - because he, again, lost his Iphone.

They went on to graduate and go their separate ways for a while. Connor went fishing in Alaska (iykyk) then to grad school and Madeline moved back home to start work.

In Fall 2018 they reconnected back home in CT, and by February 2019 they were dating.

After a year of long-distance, covid hit and Connor moved out of his NYC apartment and into Madeline's childhood home to stay safe for a while... "a while" turned into a year and BAM they were living together.

They went on to live in their first apartment in Stamford, CT. It was there that they brought home their babygirl, Stella Marie. The most beautiful Vizsla puppy in all the land. After their time in the city they moved to Milford, CT to give Stella the backyard that she deserves and enjoy being closer to family.

After 4.5 years together - on July 1, 2023 Connor proposed to Madeline at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. Madeline's favorite place in the whole world and a spot that her family has been going for over 50 years. It was an incredible moment to share with so many people they love.

Which brings us here - counting down the days until their wedding. September 13, 2024 the journey continues!
