Black-Tie Optional.
You may be wondering what the heck that means! Options include a floor-length gown, a fancy cocktail dress, or a dressy jumpsuit.
For those preferring to wear pants, a tuxedo isn't required, but it can still be worn, if preferred. Pant suits with a jacket are a great choice as well. Ties are not required but keep in mind they are a fun accessory on the dance floor.
The Ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and the Cocktail Hour and Reception will be inside.
Will transportation be provided on the wedding day?
Yes! Yellow school buses (not the magical variety) will pick up wedding guests from Philadelphia Marriott Old City at 3:15pm and will drop guests off at the same location at the end of the evening. There is parking available at the venue and Ubers can also drop off if you prefer your own transportation. Please drive safely.
Can I bring my children or a plus one to your wedding?
Maddie and Ryan love you and they love your children but respectfully ask that you leave kiddos at home. They do not want to be held liable for any corrupting of young minds that may occur as a result of their wedding....If your wedding invitation specifies a plus one, you are more than welcome to bring a date. M&R must stay within their guest count numbers, and they thank you for your understanding.
Can I take pictures during your ceremony?
Ryan and Maddie ask you to refrain from using your phones during their unplugged ceremony. After the bride and groom recess, you are encouraged to snap all the artistic and embarrassing photos your heart desires.
How do I RSVP?
You can RSVP directly through this website after invitations have been sent! Follow the RSVP tab to submit.
If you know you will be unable to attend their wedding prior to invitations being mailed, please reach out to M & R to let them know.
I have more questions - who can I reach out to?
Feel free to contact Maddie and Ryan with any and all questions! They can be reached at mrhalfordwedding@gmail.com
