If your invitation includes an option for a plus one, then yes! We look forward to celebrating with you and your guest.

If kiddos are included on the RSVP invitation, then yes, we would love for them to be a part of our special day too! We just ask that you keep a close eye on them.

The ceremony will take place outside Cromaine Hall with the picturesque Lake Walden as the backdrop. We recommend dressing accordingly for the weather that day. The reception will be held indoors in Cromaine Hall.

The dress code is semi-formal. For men, we suggest a suit, blazer, or button-down shirt with pants. For women, a dress, blouse and skirt, or pantsuit would all work.

While we do not have hotel room blocks reserved, there are many hotels and Airbnb available within a ~30 minute drive to the venue. If choosing an Airbnb, we recommend areas such as Howell, Milford, South Lyon, Walled Lake, Novi, Livonia, or Plymouth MI. Our venue, Waldenwoods, also has onsite lodging available on a first come first serve basis. The onsite lodging ranges from lodges with individual guest rooms to a community-style cottage. We are not providing transportation to and from the events but the ceremony and reception are in the same location and there is plenty of parking available.

The ceremony begins at 3:00pm. We ask that everyone arrives at least 10-15 minutes early to ensure everyone is seated before beginning.

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night.

Yes! There is a ramp from the parking lot leading into the reception hall along with a first floor handicap accessible bathroom.

The ceremony will be at 3pm followed by Cocktail Hour starting at 4pm followed by our reception beginning at 5pm

Michigan weather is quite unpredictable especially during the summer to fall season transition. The day could be sunny with a high of 80 degrees or overcast in the mid 60s. We recommend keeping an eye on the weather in the coming days before to have an idea of how to best prepared for whatever the weather may be.
