Below is a list of classic experiences everyone must do at least once while they're in Boston for the summer:

1. Walk the Freedom Trail – A quintessential Boston experience, especially nice in summer weather.

2. Catch a Red Sox game at Fenway Park – We love to sit where ever we can to catch a game. However, reach out to Maddy if you'd like to know about her favorite (and more aesthetic) spots.

3. Walk or bike along the Charles River Esplanade – Great views, especially at sunset. Just make sure it's not too windy!

4. Explore the North End – There's so much to love about the North End. There's Italian food, espresso, and pastries (Mike’s, Modern, or Bova’s) to fill your eyes and stomach for days on end.

5. Visit the Seaport District – Waterfront views, outdoor dining, and summer pop-ups, this location has it all for an upscale weekend night out. Seaport also hosts the famous Cisco-parking lot bar during the summer.

6. Take a Boston Harbor cruise or whale watch – A classic way to see the city from the water.

7. Browse Quincy Market & Faneuil Hall – Lively, touristy, and fun for first-time visitors. While this are can be overwhelming, if you know what you're getting into you can find some gems.

8. Spend time in Cambridge – Walk Harvard Yard, grab coffee, and people-watch along the Charles. Ben lives in Somerville, just a short walk away from Cambridge. If you're looking for specific recommendations about things to do, reach out to Ben for advice.

9. Enjoy outdoor concerts or festivals – Summer brings lots of free music and events around the city. Maddy especially loves "Shakespeare in the Park" which happens in the commons just before sunset!

10. Take a Duck Boat tour – Silly but iconic, and surprisingly informative.
