Clayton and I met in the most modern way: by swiping right on Tinder (swoon) in 2017.

Our first date, we met in the Cape mall parking lot to go eat dinner at El Acapulco. (HAHA, the most Southeast MO thing) Now you're probably thinking how smart that was on our part because we both could have been someone were not. I guess, it's a good thing were not serial killers. After dinner, he took me to Lake Girardeau which I didn't even know existed. We sat on his tailgate, and just got to know each other.

By the end of the night I knew there was something special about him. Clayton officially asked me to be his girlfriend about 3 months after we started talking. (Yeah, he sure knows how to make a girl wait) and we've been together ever since.

Clayton and I have made wonderful memories together. From concerts to beach trips, to buying our own house. We have two dogs and three cats. Our house could literally be a zoo, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

Clayton's proposal was not a picture perfect proposal, but it screamed Clayton Joseph Reynolds. He popped the question on Christmas day 2023 (so cheesy) with our immediate family there to celebrate. As some of you know, I was wearing athletic shorts, tube socks and my hair was in a clippie. That's not really what I had pictured looking like when I got engaged, but he had other plans. Clayton had his lovely bucket hat (insert eyeroll) on and a Carhartt t-shirt.

He plopped right down on one knee in front of the Christmas tree, and the rest is history.

We will be getting married in a beautiful intimate ceremony in our favorite place surrounded by our immediate family and dearest friends.

We can't wait to spend forever together!
