Our Wedding

We instantly clicked when we met each other at the end of our junior year of high school. The only problem was--it was prom season and we had already agreed to go with other friends in the same group. But...we really ended up spending more time with each other, laughing like we had already been friends for ages. Since then, we've been best friends going on countless adventures together.

HOW WE MET

Our Story

I am so blessed to know Taylor, our friendship is truly an answered prayer.  After weeks of frantically searching for somewhere to live after I transferred to Purdue, I finally found a house--that just happened to have the best random roommate ever. We instantly clicked, and she’s been my biggest supporter for birthdays, graduations, and now this next chapter of life.

I met Luke in high school baseball. We spend a lot of time together fishing, hunting, and golfing.  

Favorite memory: Traveling to Georgia for a baseball tournament


Luke Thesier

Even though Grace was Alex’s childhood friend first, Grace and I became great friends through our shared love of Cajun food, running, and traveling—we’ve taken trips to Cincinnati, Florida, and Nashville, and so many more to come.

I met Justin in college and we quickly became great friends on our Spring Break trip to Destin, FL.

From the day I met Emma I knew she was such a fun, genuine, and kind soul. She is the perfect person to have by your side on a special day.


Emma Thurman

Drew was my middle school locker neighbor, and we became good friends after that. He is great at making other people laugh and is always up for a good time. 

Favorite memory: Stanford-Notre Dame football game


Drew Herman

I met Michaela while working in a research lab at Purdue. We started working alongside each other, which turned into eating lunch together, which turned into hanging out on the weekends, and the rest is history.

I met Lucas in 5th grade baseball. He's always there for you and will always make you laugh. 
Favorite memory: Going to Myrtle Beach for a baseball tournament. 


Lucas Williams

Maya and I became friends in elementary school, where we bonded over Maya’s iconic red cowgirl boots, a mutual love of reading, and sharing Maya’s apple at recess. We soon became inseparable, spending a majority of nights sleeping over at each other’s houses. This turned into one long sleepover when we became roommates in college for two years.

I met Seth when I was 4 in tee ball. We grew up exploring the woods together, fishing, hunting, and camping. 
Favorite memory: Camping in Montana 


Seth O'Toole

Growing up at Maya’s house almost every day meant that Mayson and I also became as close as sisters. She has definitely known me long enough to remember all of my childhood phases, embarrassing stories, and bad haircuts so you know she’s a great friend to stick around through it all.

I met Jon in elementary school football. We bonded over our love of movies and football.

Wedding Party

6289 IN-47, Darlington, IN 47940 The Dappled Willow is located in Darlington, IN. Guests will be hosted in the outdoor ceremony space, cocktails and food served in a separate barn, dining and reception in the large barn. Plan to spend some time outdoors throughout the day. The beautiful wooded property and rural surroundings will be the perfect backdrop for our celebration!
