6 Years ago, we thought we were just going to be hanging out for the summer, but just never stopped. God ALWAYS knows the right plan, ALWAYS. We originally met at a college party at Butler through mutual friends (shout out Mike Eldridge & Delanie Alcorn), but were both dating other people. 6 months later we both showed up to the same job site for our summer jobs at Student Painters (shout out Miles Droege). I wouldn't say it was love at first site, lots of high school rivalry trash talk (go LP baseball, am I right?). But, by the time that house was fully painted I think we both kinda figured it out. In fact he was supposed to be my 'boss', whoops.

He was the detail guy and I was a siding girl, but we would always end up painting on the same side of the house. I knew it was love when he let me eat his entire lunch, and eventually just started asking his mom to pack double for the hot girl at work. (Thanks Joyce!)

The rest of the summer was filled with lots of overtime and even more beach days. Lake Michigan was definitely his wing man. After our summer fling we both came down to Indy to start our sophomore year of college. It was a college relationship for sure. Basically I was a hard core partier and he was always studying. After making it through that, I graduated (you're welcome Mom and Dad) and became a nurse, and a year later he graduated and GOT INTO MED SCHOOL. WOOHOO. The last two years we have been living apart with him at Purdue and me in Indy. He moves back to Indy this year and we cannot wait to live together after the wedding in August. Tom will be a third- year medical student and I am an ICU nurse down town Indy.

Our relationship has been the best roller coaster in both our lives. We have spent the last 6 years laughing, traveling , kissing, and learning more about ourselves and each other. From young 19 years olds to now young 25 year olds, we can't wait to spend forever together.
