We first met while serving as missionaries for our church in San Diego, CA, where we quickly became friends. Jaden completed his mission earlier, so it wasn’t until six months later that we reconnected at Brigham Young University. From there, we spent nearly all our time together—studying, playing pickleball, studying, hiking, studying, and hanging out with friends. Inevitably, we fell in love.


From the outset, we felt a natural connection and were drawn to one another. We share a love for deep conversations, humor, outdoor activities, and our faith in Jesus Christ. Our relationship has thrived on the strengths we each bring to it: Jaden’s calm and logical demeanor complements Maddie’s passion and empathy. We are excited about the future, looking forward to traveling and serving others as we continue to grow older and wiser together.
