Madelyn and Ryan met on Bumble (a dating app) even though they lived in neighboring home towns their whole lives. They went on their first date on July 13, 2021 and Ryan asked Madelyn to be his girlfriend on August 6, 2021. Not only was it love at first sight, but friendship as well. Their love grew stronger as time went on and in February 2022, Ryan asked Madelyn to move with him to Auburn. By August, they had their first apartment together and continued to let their love grow and adapt to such a big change. A few months later in December, they got their first dog together (although she is more like a child to them), Jolene. Shortly after celebrating their 2 year anniversary, they decided to move closer to family as well as try out renting a house in Ryan’s hometown of Prattville in November of 2023. After this, they grew closer than ever and Ryan began making plans to propose. The big day was on June 15, 2024. Ryan had decided to recreate their first date and go on a picnic in downtown Prattville. This was not complete without a trip to Publix for snacks, where they officially first met. It was a beautiful and hot day filled with love! Afterwards, Ryan brought Madelyn to his mom’s house where their friends and family were waiting to surprise Madelyn.

They both are so excited to have everyone there on their big day as they take this next step towards forever! <3
