Our Wedding

It all started at a little country dance hall in my hometown—the kind of place where your boots stick to the floor and you know exactly where to stand so you don't get hit by a rogue two-stepper. Brandon walked up, all confidence and charm, and asked me if I wanted to dance. Naturally, I told him I didn’t know how… which was only slightly a lie considering I’d spent the better part of my college years dancing the night away in that very same bar with my best friends. But I guess I was feeling mysterious. He just smiled, grabbed my hand, and said, “Well, I’ll teach you.” Three minutes and twenty-six seconds later (yes, we know the exact length of the song), we were deep in conversation about life, dreams, and—because it was inevitable—football. After that dance, we went our separate ways for the night, probably both pretending not to be googling each other under the table. But we found each other again during the last song of the night. We danced to Cover Me Up by Morgan Wallen (cue the collective sigh), exchanged numbers, and then spent a whopping one day apart before deciding that was quite enough time without each other. We've been together ever since… aside from a few recruiting trips and some very necessary solo vacations. Since then, we've moved three—or maybe four?—times (I’ve lost track), and I’ve baked enough desserts for offensive linemen to earn honorary team mom status. I still can’t say I totally understand football, but I can now hold a shockingly in-depth conversation about offensive line play. Love makes you do weird things. In October of 2023, we welcomed our daughter, who somehow already has Brandon’s game-day focus and my flair for dramatic snack breaks. She’s the best part of us, and the perfect little addition to our story. So here we are. From a dance floor I pretended to be clueless on, to a life that’s filled with love, laughter, and just enough chaos to keep it interesting. We can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of you.

Brittany and the bride bonded over late-night IHOP study sessions during Principles of Biology II—and from there, it was game over. Whether they were spending a weekend at an orchard or sharing a “menty B” (mental breakdown) during nursing school, Brittany has been the best company through it all. Her quick wit, calm confidence, and steady encouragement make her the kind of person everyone wants in their corner. Expect Brittany to be armed with tissues, tough love, and tequila—probably all at once.

Heather and the bride go way back—like all the way to their shining debut in Schoolhouse Rock Jr. in 2008. Heather (graciously) played Pluto, and the bride (naturally) was Mars—because obviously, she had to be the center of attention, even in orbit. Though Heather was a few years younger, she’s always felt like the bride’s equal (or possibly her twin flame). They’ve shared everything from blasting music in the bride’s Mustang (yes, Black & Yellow absolutely made the playlist) to surviving life with full-on flair. Heather is the one who matches the bride’s drama beat-for-beat and listens like no one else ever has. Expect her to be passionately present—probably crying first, laughing the loudest, and absolutely tearing up the dance floor.

Technically, Hannah and the bride met in elementary school, but it wasn’t until middle and high school that their friendship truly took root. From countless rides to school to driving from Texas just to be at Maebelle’s first birthday, she’s been the most loyal and quietly constant friend. Her dry sense of humor always lands at the perfect time, and her heart is as steady as they come. Expect Hannah to bring calm, steady support—and just the right dose of mischief—to the celebration.

Courtney and the bride met at NEO when their partners were coaching together, and she was a breath of fresh air after some less-than-sparkly experiences. From cooking Easter dinner for the football team to marathon shopping days in Joplin, she quickly became the bride’s safe place when family felt far away. She’s kind, dependable, and always shows up with her whole heart. Expect Courtney to be the warm, gracious presence everyone is drawn to on the big day.

Delilah is best described as the little sister the bride never had—from coaching her to “babysitting” her, the bride has loved watching her grow into one of the most incredible humans. Whether they’re cheering each other on or catching up on life, she continues to make the bride proud in every season. She’s driven, brave, and always ready to show up and love big. Expect Delilah to bring that youthful spark, killer hugs, and a few happy tears to the big day.

Tina and the bride became inseparable in 8th grade and were practically one person all through high school. They begged their parents for sleepovers on school nights and got to school early just to sit in the car and talk through life. From driving to Arkansas on a whim in college to standing by the bride through some of her hardest chapters, Tina has held a piece of her heart for as long as she can remember. On the big day, expect her to be laughing, crying, and probably finishing the bride’s sentences.

Jesse and the groom met back in high school on the football field, but their real friendship kicked off after graduation. From intense gym sessions to moments of heroic loyalty, Jesse has always had the groom’s back—sometimes with very quick reflexes. Known for his unwavering loyalty and fierce determination, Jesse is the guy you want in your corner. Expect him to be calm, collected, and watching everyone’s six on the big day.

Dayne and the groom go all the way back to high school at Northwest HS, where the good times rolled—especially at the legendary Maclin house parties. Dayne is the guy who shows up with an open mind, a steady presence, and a big heart, always ready to carry the weight for those he loves. Loyal and laid-back, Dayne will be a rock of calm and good vibes at the celebration.

Evan (or as we all call him, Lass) met the groom while coaching at NEO A&M, and their friendship quickly brewed over energy drinks and recruiting trips—with a mandatory stop at HTeaO. He’s the kind of guy who shows up, stands tall, and sticks around through thick and thin. Selfless, loyal, and determined, Lass will be a steady and supportive presence at the wedding—just like he’s always been.

Tyler and the groom became fast friends while coaching together at SBU, where their bond was forged in road trips, Cut Ups visits, and a legendary top-25 win celebration. Whether solving problems or rallying people toward a goal, Tyler’s drive and leadership always shine through. With a heart for unity and a no-nonsense approach to getting things done, he’ll be the one making sure everything runs smoother than the pregame warm-up.

Justin and the groom have known each other since birth—because, well, they’re brothers. From childhood chaos to holiday traditions and every family road trip in between, their bond has only grown stronger with time. Loyal to a fault and family-first in all he does, Justin’s role at the wedding is as natural as it gets. He’s the one who knows the groom best and has probably seen everything.

Grant is the bride's younger brother and entered the picture early in the groom’s relationship with her, quickly becoming a trusted friend. Though picking a single favorite memory is tough, Grant’s honesty and strong sense of self always stand out. Driven, dependable, and deeply family-oriented, Grant will be the one keeping things grounded and reminding us all of what really matters.

Yates and the groom met playing football at NWOSU and spent most of college as roommates, turning everyday moments into unforgettable ones. Whether it was game day or just a random Tuesday, they always found a way to make it fun. Yates is the ultimate “ride or die” friend—he treats people like family and finds the good in every situation. Count on him to bring laughter and unwavering support to the wedding.

Luke is the brides younger brother and was actually the first of her people the groom met—setting the bar high from the start. They hit it off right away over Freedom Fitness workouts and solid conversations. He’s got a heart full of love, endless compassion, and a loyalty that doesn’t waver. As someone who leads with intention and lives with meaning, Luke will be a source of peace, strength, and thoughtful energy on the big day.

The Pioneer Woman Mercantile is a destination restaurant, bakery and store in Pawhuska. Ree Drummond has a cooking show on Food Network. Ree and her husband Ladd Drummond spent years renovating a hundred-year-old Osage Mercantile building on Main Street in Pawhuska Oklahoma. The Merc has a restaurant on the 1st floor featuring comfort foods made using Ree's recipes, also on the 1st floor is the Mercantile with goods including signature baking ware, toys, cookbooks and much more. The 2nd floor has a bakery with several options of fresh made pastries and delicious coffee.Ree and Ladd also own Charlie's sweet shop featuring ice cream and candy. P-Town Pizza, pizza cooked in a wood-fired brick oven and the Mercantile Boarding House an 8 room cowboy luxury hotel.
