What should I wear?
The dress code is formal attire. For women, nice, short or long dresses are appropriate. Because we are having a sacramental mass for our ceremony, modest attire is appreciated. For men, suits, slacks, and jackets are appropriate. Please refrain from wearing jeans or white.
Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP online.
Are my children invited?
While we adore your little ones, due to the size of our wedding, we’re only able to include a limited number of children. If your child is invited, it will be noted on your invitation.
We hope you’ll take this as a chance to enjoy a well-deserved parents’ night out. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Will the wedding and reception be indoor or outdoor?
The wedding will be held in St. John Neumann Catholic Church. The reception will be mostly indoor, with an outdoor cocktail hour.
What should I do between the ceremony and reception?
We appreciate your patience during our little “Catholic delay”! Feel free to explore some local favorites we've shared under Things to Do or take the opportunity to relax and recharge before a night of drinks, dinner, and dancing.
How should I travel in Knoxville?
Uber and other rideshare services are widely available in downtown Knoxville, making it easy to get to and from the reception or explore the area.
We do recommend driving to the ceremony, as the church is about 20 minutes from downtown and there will be plenty of time to park before the reception begins. There will also be parking available at the reception, if you prefer to drive.
Once you're back downtown, Knoxville is very walkable, especially around Gay Street, so feel free to explore.
