There will be a shuttle service to and from the venue for the ceremony and reception/after party on Saturday. The shuttle will only pick up from the hotels where we have blocks. If you are staying at an Air BnB or a separate hotel, we ask that you please Uber/Lyft or drive to the event or to one of the blocked hotels.

Yes! We've reserved a block at Hotel Viking and Holiday Inn Express Newport North Middletown and Sonesta Select Middletown. More details on these hotels is under the Travel tab above. Please mention Waldeisen/Slayton Wedding to get the discounted rate.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins so you have time to find your seat, and settle in.

Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only occasion. We hope you enjoy a night off!

We kindly ask that you only bring a plus 1 if your invitation includes an additional guest. We appreciate your understanding as we work within limited space and seating.

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones and cameras tucked away. We'll share professional photos after!

Please include any dietary needs in your RSVP, and we’ll make sure the caterer is informed.
