As we all know, Tennessee summers can be brutally hot! Hopefully the weather will cooperate during our outdoor ceremony, but in any case, we promise not to keep you in the "hot seat" for too long! Gentlemen are asked to wear dress pants or slacks to the ceremony with a button down shirt or polo. However, no tie or jacket is necessary unless that is your desired outfit. For the ladies, dresses or dress pants with a blouse would be appropriate.
Can i use my phone?
While we understand that friends and family members may want to capture special moments during the ceremony, we kindly ask that you refrain from using your device until cocktail hour and the reception. Our wonderful photographers from ACE Photography have a unique style with two photographers capturing various angles of the wedding day to provide a large portfolio. With that being said, we would prefer to not see any phones in our wedding photos, and we promise to share the complete photo portfolio with our guests!
Ceremony
The wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. We ask that guests arrive no earlier than 5:00pm due to the pre-wedding festivities that may be occurring such as first look, family pictures, etc. The reception will be held in a stunning stone courtyard toward the back of the property, and we encourage guests to take in the scenery and unique venue as they travel to the ceremony site. There will be golf carts available for those unable to walk the distance from the entrance to the courtyard.
Cocktail Hour
Following the ceremony, guests will be asked to transition to cocktail hour held on a covered patio to allow for post-ceremony pictures of the bride and groom. Cocktail hour will take place from 6:00-7:00pm in this area, and guests are encouraged to explore the grounds, play yard games, and even find their seats in the reception hall. During cocktail hour you should expect an outdoor bar with wine, beer, and signature cocktails as well as many tasty hors d'oeuvres.
Reception
The reception will be held indoors in the main events building on the property. After all guests are seated, the wedding party will enter in their own special way, then the bride and groom will be announced. Upon entering the reception, the bride and groom will have their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Byrne. Following the couple's first dance, the father of the bride will welcome all guests and dinner will be served. After dinner, the Matron of Honor and Best Man will each give a speech, then bride and her father will share a dance as well as the groom and his mother. At this point the formalities will have concluded and guests are welcome to party the night away! Don't forget to add songs you'd like to hear from Party Patrol Entertainment while RSVPing!
