The venue itself is a destination! If you book a room or cottage at the resort, you'll have access to the grounds at Callaway, which has beautiful gardens, a butterfly center, hiking trails, a treetop adventure course, a lake/beach area with paddle boarding.
If your weekend is not complete without a round of golf, Callaway has you covered. There are two courses on site: the Lake View course, and the Mountain View course. Ask Brandon which is best, or try both!
If you're more of a history buff, FDR State Park is nearby. This is Georgia’s largest state park and has more than 40 miles of trails. In 1924, FDR came here to swim in naturally warm springs that offered relief from polio. Today, nearby Roosevelt’s Little White House State Historic Site includes FDR's GA home, a museum and the pools that first drew him here.
