Rathbun Lake is right by Centerville with beaches and boat rentals. There are also cabin rentals and camper spots. It could be a fun addition to the trip, come down a few days early rent a boat, go to the beach, and eat at Louie's at the Marina. Make a little vacation out of it!

Established over 100 years ago, the Appanoose Country Club is a great 9 hole regulation course located in Centerville, Iowa. There is also food and drinks available inside the Country Club.
