"Our story began in New Orleans, LA in August of 2020. My great uncle died, and my mom and I flew in from Louisville, KY for the funeral. We decided to make a girls trip out of it since I had never been to NOLA before. When we got to our gate in the airport for our flight back home, my mom noticed a guy around my age and hit me on the arm saying "Look Madison, that boy is cute." I looked up and saw the most handsome guy with the brightest blue-eyes. My mom asked him where he got his Chick-Fil-A from, in which he replied "It felt like seven miles that way." We got to talking for the hour before our flight and come to find out, he was in town from Asheboro, NC visiting some family and we had mutual friends. He asked for my Instagram and we followed each other.

A few months passed and nothing happened. I decided to go to a James Wilson concert with my brother and sister-in-law in Maryville, TN. After the concert, we went out to eat and came back to our hotel. "Airport guy" happened to be checking into the hotel when we were walking in. We got to talking again, and the rest was history.
