Chalet View Lodge
We are thrilled to invite you to join us for our wedding weekend at the beautiful Chalet View Lodge, a premier boutique resort nestled in the scenic town of Portola, CA. Just a 45-minute drive north of Truckee and 50 miles from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Chalet View Lodge provides the comfort of a relaxed, no-curfew environment. It's the essence of mountain luxury, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the natural world, and provides a peaceful sanctuary amid the wilderness. It also serves as the perfect launchpad for adventures, from trekking through forest trails to enjoying the myriad of activities onsite.
To ensure an intimate and exclusive experience, we have reserved all 52 uniquely styled rooms at the property, which also features an onsite brewery and a Starbucks for your enjoyment. These rooms will be held exclusively for our wedding party until 60 days prior to our event. We encourage you to book your accommodations as soon as possible to secure the room type that best suits your needs.

Please do not call the hotel to reserve your room(s) for your stay, the Front Desk will be unable to assist you. If you need assistance with booking a room or editing a room reservation, please email help@chaletview.com.
Please remember that Chalet View Lodge is a small boutique hotel that is unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs. Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. Please keep the event start time in mind when making your reservations.
We hope that you will consider celebrating the entire weekend with us at Chalet View Lodge. Please note that Graeagle is relatively remote. Ride sharing apps and other technological amenities will not be available.
Unfortunately, not all of our guests will be able to stay at the lodge so please make your reservations as soon as possible to get the room you love!

Reno-Tahoe International Airport
For our guests flying from out of town, the Reno-Tahoe International Airport will be the easiest and most efficient airport to fly into, with only about a 50 minute drive to Chalet View Lodge from there. We recommend renting a car for the weekend. Ideally, we’d love it if groups of guests joined forces in renting transportation together, so talk to friends who are going and try to coordinate if you can! Directions from Reno-Tahoe Airport to Chalet View Lodge:
From the Airport, head west and take the ramp on the left to I-580 North. Keep right at the fork to merge onto I-580 North. Continue onto US-395 North towards Susanville. Take exit 8 at Hallelujah Junction for CA-70 toward Portola/Quincy after about 25 miles on the US-395 N. Turn left at the stop sign onto CA-70 West and continue on for 27 miles. Chalet View Lodge will be on your left after you pass through the small town of Portola, CA.
Transportation
B.Y.O.T Bring Your Own Transportation ;)
The venue/ lodging is approximately one hour out of Reno.
We will be in the mountains so ubers and lyfts are not common out there. So having your own form of transportation via car or friend with car, will be helpful if you plan on staying on site or in the area.
We do have kind and loving family members so if you need a ride to the venue/ lodging there is a chance that someone may be able to help. Please keep in mind that once at the venue/ lodging transportation is suggested due to its slighly isolated location.
