Just like every modern romance, Madison and Sean met on the very personal dating app known as Tinder. After messaging for a few days, Sean was still overseas traveling with his father and unsure Madison was even a real girl. Meanwhile, Madison was sitting at home confused how she matched with someone overseas while sitting in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. They agreed to meet up that same weekend.

Sean was adamant about picking Madison up at her house which meant driving over 4 hours to pick her up and drive her to the date. Madison made him take her to meet her work colleagues in case this led to her murder in a back alley. (Because who even picks someone up for a first date anymore?)

Sean and Madison went to the Strip District for some street shopping and landed at the iconic Cheesecake Factory. This was Sean's first time ever at the Cheesecake Factory so Madison had insisted they eat here.

They very quickly starting spending all their work free days driving back and forth between Somerset and Uniontown, with each other as often as possible. They took countless weekend trips to Columbus, Cleveland, and Richmond. Annual Phipps Conservatory trips with Madison's friends.

After some long discussions, Madison and Sean moved in to their first apartment together after only 8 months together.

Madison and Sean learned that they shared a passion for music. Madison started dragging him to all the live shows they could possibly go to. They have attended countless shows over the years together and never cease to have some of their favorite memories at some of these shows.

Madison begged and begged for a puppy. In October 2022, Madison and Sean became paw-rents to a little Eskimo named Ghost!

Sean spent part of his life living in Asheville, NC before meeting Madison but knew right away she would love that city. Every year they take a week long trip to Asheville exploring the many distilleries, bookshops, and restaurants. Together, they decided one day they will move together to Asheville and create a life of their own someday.

Every girl dreams of their proposal but Madison dreamed maybe a little too much. After stomping around the gardens of Biltmore Estate, Sean had them hike up a literal mountain to a gazebo overlook and asked Madison to marry him.
