In the spring of 2016, Madison was a dancer at Dancer’s Pointe in Ashburn. Jared had taken a part time

job at the same dance studio working as a props guy for the Fire Ant Festival and their end of the year

recital. By recital time there had been some flirting but Madison was preparing to compete at the Miss

Georgia’s Outstanding Teen pageant in June and did not want the distractions of a potentially new

relationship. She told Jared if he would wait until after the pageant, she would go out with him then.

Jared waited and their first date was shortly after she returned from the pageant. They went to the

movies to see The Secret Life of Pets, Madison’s choice of course.

They were both seniors at two different schools when school started back. That meant two of

everything for that year; two homecomings, two proms, two graduations and of course senior year

sports for both of them. They handled everything at school all while trying to develop this new

relationship.

After graduation came colleges, career path changes, job changes but their support for one another

never wavered.

In 2022, they really began talking about their plans for the future and what that would look for them as

a couple. It was very important that Madison was extremely close to finishing her Master’s Degree

before they get married. They started talking about a long engagement and they both were content

with their plan.

Jared bought a ring that fall with plans to propose the next year, but that ring was burning a hole in his

pocket. Madison had already planned for them to have some Christmas pictures made and he knew

that would be the perfect time for him to propose. With a few people in on his plan, he was ready to

“pop the question” and have everything caught on photos and video. However, he was struggling to

find the perfect moment during the photo shoot. If you haven’t seen the video, ask to watch it. It is

pretty funny. Of course, the moment was finally right and as you know, she said yes.

Since then, they have been deeply involved in making this wedding everything they want it to be. They

also purchased a house last August that Jared is currently living in and took in a precious little cavapoo

named Kirby.
