Distance to Lake Como (Relais Villa Vittoria): ~1 hour by car (approx. 43 miles)

We recommend taking the train as the most convenient and scenic way to reach Lake Como. From major cities like Milan, regular trains run to Como. The Train from Milan to Como leaves every 30-45 minutes. See below for step by step guide to take the train from the Milan airport to Lake Como.

Once you arrive by train there are a few options:

1. We suggest booking a private car transfer to your accommodation. This is the easiest and most comfortable way to navigate the area. Make sure that you do this in advance and do not wait to do this once you get there.

2. Taxi limited available but if you do go this route it is roughly $60 one way.

3. Uber very limited in the area and are expensive roughly $180 one way.

4. Bus - the C110 bus line which is the least expensive way to travel in the area. It only comes 4 times a day though so make sure that you are checking the bus route if you decide to use this way of transportation roughly $6 per way. It will take about 50 minutes to get to the venue once you get on the bus at the Como Train Station.

5. Rent a car, the hotel has 8 parking spots available, but local transportation options are much more stress-free!

We’ll be staying at the Villa Vittoria in Laglio, Lake Como for two nights — the night before and the night of the wedding. We’re also taking time to explore other towns on Lake Como and Italy during our trip, and we definitely recommend doing the same! There’s so much beauty to see beyond just the wedding weekend. On Friday the 5th and Saturday the 6th be sure to book your stay in Laglio! Lake Como is quite large and spread across several provinces, so staying in or near Laglio will make it much easier to access the wedding venue.

If you are NOT staying walking distance to the villa and are not renting a car, make sure that you book a private car to pick you up at 11:30pm the night of the wedding and 10:30pm the night of the pizza party. There are no ubers, taxis, or cars that will be available night of.

Due to our date falling at the start of peak travel season, we recommend booking accommodation as soon as possible.
