Our Wedding

Come What May

This is the story of how we fell in love. We come before you all, joining together in this covenant of marriage, as a testimony of our good and gracious God. We have no other explanation of how our love came to be other than the Lord's hand that covered every part of our lives. Our testimony involves a gentle-spirited man, a bold woman, and an intentional God. The Holy Spirit has led us to this point in time, and we cannot be more excited to step into this next season. We are thankful for all those who have played a role in the story of our love. In 2023, we met playing pickleball with a group of our (now) closest friends. I (Madison) was the loudest person on the court, and Eli was definitely one of the better players there. At the time, we had no idea that this is where we would have ended up- but we could not be more blessed that God had other plans. Then, we embarked on a beach trip to our friend’s beach house (the infamous Fripp Tripp.) This was the starting point to forever. Looking back at that whole trip always makes us so emotional. We felt the presence of God in a way we cannot even explain. He covered that space, and it made our story something we will forever treasure. I (Madison) remember looking around the room and seeing a boy sitting all by himself. He was quiet, meek, and listened so intently to everything that was said during the devotional. I couldn't help but be captivated by his gentle spirit. So, I did what I always do: talked his ear off. We laughed, we cried, we sang out to the Lord. The Spirit bonded us that night; a touch of affirmation during a moment of worship was all it took. We left that trip feeling spiritually filled. Surrounded by this fresh fire that would further propel us to be where we are today. Eli and I will forever look back at that trip in remembrance of the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells within us. Further following the Spirit and His prompting, we met for a coffee "date". We did not go in thinking it was a date... but outsiders looking in definitely knew there was something there. We left feeling a tug from the Spirit that this was something different. This love was meant to last. This love is worth pursuing and risking it all for. This love reflects Christ's love for us. There is no greater love than this. God truly ordered our steps in such a way that we will always and forever be in awe of. It only took a month for us both to fully fall in love, but we were both so confident that this is exactly where the Holy Spirit was guiding us. We were so confident that Eli told me he was going to marry me, before he told me he loved me, before he even asked me to be his girlfriend. If that's not holy guidance, I'm not sure what is. Not a step was made without the Father’s hand, and from now till the end, there never will be. We started dating the night of August 22, 2023. Now, we each get to marry our best friend. The God who was intentional in joining us together in 2023 is the same God who is joining us together in marriage on May 17, 2026. To all who have been a part of our journey thus far, thank you. You have loved us well, and we pray we have done the same to you. We cannot wait to celebrate, not the end, but only the beginning of a love that lasts forever! May God bless you and keep you.

The Bride and Groom will be done with photos no later than 7:00pm and will kick off the night with a first dance.Come hungry! Dinner will be served promptly after the first dance.

Dress Code

We kindly ask that you come wearing blue cocktail attire. To keep with wedding traditions, we would love for all of our guests to be our something blue.This can be any type of blue - blue dress, blue dress shirt, blue tie. Just wear something beautiful and blue!For the men, we ask that you dress in a suit or a dress shirt with a tie.For the ladies, mid-length or maxi dresses are requested.Dressy separates are also welcome.We will be outside for the entirety of our ceremony and reception, so keep that in mind as you select your attire.

Children

We love all the kids that are a part of our family. But, due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 18, unless you have been told otherwise.This is to allow you and your spouse intentional time with one another, completely undistracted.We would love to help you both find, and pay for a babysitter. Please reach out to Madison or Eli personally for more details.

Plus-Ones

In order to maintain the intimacy of the evening, there will be no plus-ones given to our guests. Each guest was hand picked by Eli and Madison because of the way they each have impacted both their love together, and their lives individually.
