Micheal and I have known each other in passing for many years. Our best man, Eric, was a mutual friend of ours. He was one of the big reasons for us getting to know each other. On December 8th, 2018, Eric had come up to IUP for the weekend and had asked me to join them at Micheal's apartment before going out. Before this night, Micheal had tried to flirt with me over the summer, but I hadn't gotten the hint. However, on this winter night, Micheal decided to try one more time after watching me slip and fall into a speaker at the house party we were attending. The rest was history.


We both found a mutual love for history and ideas. This is shown on our first big trip together, which was to Gettysburg. Making it even more romantic by staying in a haunted bed & breakfast. These trips continued throughout our relationship, including Harper Ferry, Nashville, and Antietam.

As our relationship has grown, so has our little family starting with our cat Peter that we got from a foster program at 2 years old. Then Henry was adopted as a kitten. Finally, the other woman in our life, Jolene. The dog that is teaching us a lot of patience and unconditional love.

The blooming of our relationship caused our families to come together. We couldn't have asked for better inlaws. With Lori working alongside Micheal at the police department. To spend time with Eileen at Della Terra and Deep Creek. Along with Joel trying to get Brian to join in his antics at 3B's on St. Patrick's Day.
