Madison & Lauro

Spring 2024

Q + A

What should I wear?

Formal/Cocktail. We recommend floor length dresses, or pantsuits, and suits or formal jackets. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing blue jeans and tennis shoes. Treat this as your opportunity to go all out and dress up! To avoid dressing like the bridal party, the bridal party will be wearing variations of dusty light blue.

How long should we stay in town?

We recommend always flying in the day before an event. A stay April 18-20 or 21st would allow you time to settle in, enjoy the wedding, and time to return home. An additional day in town would allow for time to explore the charming town of Sanford or visit the beach! The bride and groom will not be available the week of the wedding due to work and prior engagements, and will leave April 22 for their honeymoon. Hotel and activity suggestions are located on our travel page of our website.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your formal invitation will indicate if you are able to bring a plus one. Those invited as a family unit do not include plus ones. Yourself, spouse, and children will be included in your “Family _____” invite. If you are not allotted a plus one please know that we are on a budget, as well as a guest limit at the venue. We take into consideration if you will know other people at the wedding as well as existing significant others, and children. If you have questions as to who in your party is invited, please contact us.

Where should I park?

We have FREE valet parking at the venue! However, if you plan on drinking, we kindly recommend to Uber, or carpool with a designated sober driver. Your safety is priority at the end of the night! If you leave your car overnight, it will be moved from the parking lot to street parking and the keys will be given to the bride and groom as the venue has to accommodate the next wedding.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The quick ceremony will be outdoors! The reception will be held inside with plenty of AC.

Can I bring my children?

Please only bring invited children who are listed on your invitation/RSVP. We kindly suggest finding childcare and treating our wedding as a date night out! Please note the venue does have stairs that are connected to the reception hall, and that you will need to be attentive to your children during the entire event.

What is the weather like?

Hot hot hot! Florida is known to be warm and sunny. In April the weather can range from 65-85.

When will I receive my official invitation?

Invitations will be sent out 3-4 months before the wedding. At that time you can RSVP, submit your food preferences, and further information will be added to the wedding website.
