Maddy and Owen met at a friend's house party in the summer of 2021. Owen worked up the courage to talk to Maddy, and they immediately hit it off. She knew that night that she had fallen head over heels. Over the next few months, they would build a friendship that lead to their relationship.

On December 10th, 2022 - Maddy and Owen made it official!

Owen went to Maddy's apartment that night and asked her to be his girlfriend. That's when the whirlwind of dates, flowers, and vacations together began.

After about one year of dating, Owen and Maddy moved in together with Maddy's daughter Arabelle, her dog, and two cats. In this house, Maddy and Owen learned to live together while Owen bonded with Arabelle.

After living together for a year, the couple made the decision to buy a house together in Spencer, TN. During the buying process, Owen had been planning a proposal. On August 24th, 2024, Maddy drove to the new house under the impression they would start working on it. When she arrived and walked through the backyard, she found Owen waiting to propose.
