We met on Hinge. It wasn’t anything extravagant—just a swipe, a message, and then a conversation. But somehow, it felt different. We laughed at all my jokes and the way we clicked right away, both feeling like we’d stumbled on something special.

The first time we hung out, it was like we’d known each other forever. There was something easy about it, and before long, we found ourselves doing everything together. Our weekends are often spent bringing our dogs to the park, where we can just enjoy the fresh air and watch our little ones run wild. We work out together, pushing each other, but it’s when we’re cooking meals side by side that we really feel connected. Him giving patronizing instructions on how to cook an egg, me yelling at him to leave me alone when I'm in the kitchen. Those moments of quality time are priceless to us.

One of our most memorable moments was when we visited our new house for the first time. It was empty, just a shell of what it would one day become, but we were so excited for the future. We brought lawn chairs and pastrami sandwiches, and even though the house was completely bare, it felt like home already. We just hung out there, talking about everything we were going to do and dreaming about the family we would build.

What makes us work? It’s the little things. He’s always showing me love through acts of service—whether it’s helping with something around the house or surprising me with kind words that make me feel special. I show him love through physical touch and giving him my full attention during our time together. It’s in these gestures that we communicate our feelings, creating a space where we both feel seen and appreciated.

Looking ahead, we’re excited about building a family together. We want to see the world, experience new adventures, and continue growing alongside each other. There’s a calmness in knowing that we’re on the same path, ready to take on whatever comes our way.
