Our Wedding

We matched on Hinge on November 14th, 2022, and immediately hit it off. Leading up to our first date we sent each other cat memes, hopped on calls to play TFT, and just generally got to know one another. Our first date consisted of coffee (of course!) and walks around downtown Greenville, including Falls Park on the Reedy where we later had our engagement photoshoot. We started talking about our next date as soon as we got home, and have spent almost every Saturday since together! Despite it taking four years to get to the altar, we both felt early on that we had found our person and started talking about our future together. Our relationship allows us both to be our most authentic selves because we find comfort in one another. <br>During our relationship we've bonded over shared likes and developed new ones, like watching messy reality TV shows together, listening to K-pop, drinking iced coffee (usually with a side of pastries), and playing word games. Whether we're out exploring on a brief getaway or cuddled up on the couch, everything is more enjoyable when we're together. We'd like to thank everyone for coming out and joining us on our special day!

I met Danielle at St Olaf College in the Korean Culture Association in 2017 where we bonded over the then newly-released Stray Kids “Hellevator” music video. We quickly became close friends and refer to each other as “soulmates” because of a joke I made after seeing Danielle around campus multiple times in one day. Despite its silly origins, we both feel this term truly describes our deep bond. Despite the distance between them with Danielle living in Chicago, we talk almost constantly and have managed to see each other at least once a year for the past four years. Whether it be for concerts or random getaways, we always find time to see one another. I am eternally grateful to have Danielle in my life and very glad to have her as Maid of Honor!

I met Holly during our freshman year at St Olaf College in a shared Spanish class. We quickly made a routine of getting breakfast together after this 8am, especially enjoying the days when the cafeteria was serving chocolate chip pancakes. Our mutual love for coffee, breakfast food, and Vine compilations soon blossomed into a friendship that saw us as roommates for the next two years that Holly lived on campus. We both majored in art history and spent most of our free time sophomore year watching The Great British Bake Off in our dorm room. Holly is a friend who’s always accepted me as I am and made me feel welcome, even bringing me to her family home for holidays. I am extremely glad to have Holly as part of my bridal party, especially since she began her master’s degree program in Amsterdam in 2025 for textile conservation (congrats again Holly)!

I met Amanda at St Olaf College in a four semester program called American Conversations. We were introduced to each other during a study session at the library and I immediately knew I had to befriend Amanda. We quickly began hanging out after that and saw each other through a difficult sophomore year with frequent coffee runs, lots of memes, and cookies from the Lion’s Pause pizza kitchen where Amanda worked. When Covid-19 forced most students to leave campus in 2020, Amanda brought me to her family home where I stayed for a few months. We watched plenty of reality TV and put together multiple puzzles to try and stay sane. When Amanda got married in October 2024, I was elated to be asked to be a bridesmaid. I am so excited to now have Amanda as one of my bridesmaids as I celebrate my special day!

We’ve explored historic downtown Norcross a few times ourselves and find it to be charming! There are a handful of restaurants, two good coffee shops, and a lovely antique store! Of course, there’s more than just the historic downtown, as their website shows. Also, be sure to check out their holiday events!

Madi and Andrew used the CityPass on their first trip together to celebrate their 6 month anniversary! It’s a great way to bundle and save on visiting some of the most popular attractions in Atlanta (Georgia Aquarium, Zoo Atlanta, World of Coca-Cola, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, College Football Hall of Fame, and National Center for Civil and Human Rights). There’s something for everyone! Just don’t do what we did and plan to hit three in one day if you aren’t ready to walk a lot, haha!

Visit the cafe where Madi and Andrew got engaged! This place is a must-visit every time we come to town. Their offerings are somewhat limited, but all very delicious. Their black sesame latte is one of Madi’s all-time favorite drinks (iced, of course)!

Momo Cafe/Momonoki

A very lovely botanical garden! We have visited before and had a great time. Starting the same day as our wedding they’ll be having their “Garden Lights, Holiday Nights” exhibit open!
