Q + A

What time should we arrive?

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 pm. We ask that you arrive no later than 3:15 to secure a seat. Don't be that guest that walks in as the bridal party is making their entrance ;)

Can I bring a guest?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally indicated on your invitation. If you received a plus one, your envelope will be addressed as "Mr./Mrs. (Your Last Name) & Guest." Thank you for understanding!

Are Kids Invited?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family and guests from out of state. We want you to let loose and enjoy your evening- use it as a date night!

What's the Dress Code?

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us for our big day! We are requesting formal and cocktail attire- no jeans and no white/cream/ivory for the ladies please!

Will there be an Open Bar?

Yes, absolutely. Drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! However, we do ask that you drink responsibly and safely. In the rare instance that a guest's behavior becomes disruptive or poses a safety concern, the guest will be asked to exit the premises.

What time does the reception end?

The reception will end at 11:00 PM.

There's an After Party?!

YES! We know that we will not want this night to end, so we have reserved some space at Tullaghan's Irish Pub in Highland, IL. It's just a few blocks from the venue and we plan to have drinks and karaoke to close out the night! We have this space reserved from 11:00pm-1:00am.

Is there transportation available?

Yes! We will have a shuttle available after the reception to get our guests from the venue to the hotel and after party. The same transportation will be available to take guests from the after party to the local hotel. There will not be Ubers/Lyfts available, so please make sure you have a designated driver to get you home safely.

Where should we stay?

We have blocked hotel rooms at the Seasons Inn & Suites for the night of the wedding. More information about this hotel can be found on the "Travel" page.
