As fate had it Freshman year at Pottsville Area High School we were placed into the same homeroom, 305. Due to our last names following each others alphabetically we sat right across from one another. Our homeroom teacher insisted we were only allowed to talk to the person across from us. Unlike Brent, I could not go without talking all of homeroom. My ice breaker was "nice calculator". We talked everyday in homeroom after that

We remained best friends all through high school. We stayed in the same homeroom and had multiple classes together. Most classes were seated alphabetically as well, so you guessed it. Brent was stuck sitting next to me for almost every single one.

Finally by senior year we realized that our feelings outgrew a friendship. Neither one of us could picture going our separate ways after high school without one another. So we officially stated dating 03/11/2017. We got to do all our lasts together in high school, like going to senior prom.

Brent went to Penn State Harrisburg for College, while I attended Nursing School at Joesph F McKloskey school of nursing closer to home. We had frequent facetimes and weekend visits.

Brent Graduated from Penn State Harrisuburg and I graduated nursing school. We then both started our professional careers.

As some of you may know, my Pap passed away in early 2021. The first holiday season was particularly difficult, as he made Christmas Eve very special in my family. He was our designated Santa, sang way too loud during christmas carols, and overall radiated Christmas spirit. I was dreading Christmas Eve because I knew it would be a more solemn version without him here. In true Brent-fashion, he was able to turn what would have been a sad night into the most memorable. In front of some of the most important people in my life, right next to where my pap sat for countless years, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Just like that proposal, I am so thankful to have Brent to make the hard times easier. Loving you is so easy and I can’t wait to do it the rest of my life.
