Madison and Joshua met at the University of Oklahoma during their shared engineering classes. In March of 2020, Joshua asked Madison on a date but unfortunately, the day they agreed to go to dinner was the day the world shut down due to the pandemic. So instead of going out to dinner, Joshua picked up Madison, got her favorite order from Chick-fil-a and they played MarioKart for the rest of the evening. After that they saw each other as much as they could, even while living in different states during the pandemic.

Madison and Joshua began to travel together as much as they could in 2021. One of their many trips included a road trip all the way to Montana in January where they skied and adventured across the beautiful Big Sky County, including seeing Whitefish! Then in May of that year, Madison and Joshua walked across the stage together, graduating with their Industrial and Systems Engineering degrees. Madison went on to start her career as a civilian engineer for the Air Force, and Joshua continued his education by pursuing his masters and working for Boeing.

Over the next year, Madison and Joshua continued their adventures and even adopted their adorable Longhaired German Shepard, Heidi. However, their largest adventure yet was traveling to Australia in November of 2022. Madison and Joshua traveled to Cains to scuba dive the Great Barrier Reef, and feed crocodiles before heading to Gold Coast where Joshua had a little surprise for Madison. After getting picked up in a white limo, a private helicopter tour of the coast, and a romantic private boat ride, Joshua asked Madison to marry him! Madison could not stop smiling for the rest of their trip! They wrapped up their tour of Australia in Sydney where they explored the city and toured the Sydney Opera House.

Madison and Joshua have had an amazing life together so far, and can not wait to celebrate their next adventure together with their family and friends in Montana!
