Our Wedding

For three years, we were in the same small town, meeting again and again before we ever really met. Basketball games, football games, soccer games, campus events — we’d cross paths, exchange the occasional hello, never quite connecting… until we did. Wyatt even spent a whole year thinking I was married (I’m pretty sure he just saw a ring and used it as an excuse not to ask me out!).Then he started coming to Imperium Weightlifting and Fitness, and the timing finally aligned. I casually commented on his Instagram story about a new skill he had posted ;) — and suddenly, what had been ocassional notices turned into a connection that felt effortless, surprising, and completely natural.Our first date? Very Wyatt. He invited me over to help clean a red wine stain off a wall. Not exactly romantic, but perfectly him. By the end of the evening, I noticed something new — he’s the perfect mix of driven and playful, never afraid to make a joke at his own expense, and somehow asking the right questions at the right time. That little spark we’d been circling suddenly made perfect sense.From there, everything clicked. We met each other’s families (and Archie, obviously!), shared more and more of our lives, and realized all those near misses weren’t coincidences — they were just life making sure we finally ended up at the same table, at the same time, exactly when we were supposed to.

A downtown staple, and the rotating flavors make it so hard to pick just one! So fun during a downtown stroll.

A great place to get outside and go for a hike, with a variety of trails and great views. Perfect if you’re looking to spend a few hours outdoors.

Lory State Park

A little closer to Fort Collins and super accessible. A local favorite and one of our go-to hikes when we want a great view.

Horsetooth Reservoir

Flowers on flowers! So colorful. So magical. Definitely worth stopping by.

CSU Annual Flower Trial Gardens

We’ve never tried fly fishing ourselves, but it’s one of the most popular local outdoor activities — and if you want to give it a go with help from the pros, this is a great way to do it. Liarflies offers guided trips on the scenic Cache la Poudre River.
