It is known for being the main shopping area in downtown Newport, along with its great bars and eateries. And just across the way you will find Bowen's Wharf, a harbor and square lined with boutiques, cafes, food, and more.
The soon to be Mr and Mrs enjoyed their one year anniversary in Newport, and the Cliff Walk was their fondest memory of the trip. Little did they know, they would be calling RI their home 10 years later.
Newport is home to 11 historic mansions. The Breakers is the most famous, and objectively the best, of all the Newport mansions. Definitely make time to visit any one of these beautiful properties if you enjoy history, architecture, and art.
Fun fact: Many of the mansions have been used in films and TV shows, including The Rosecliff and Marble House, which were both used in the making of the original Great Gatsby film.
If you're a car enthusiast, this is the place for you. The museum features a collection of over 95 private automobiles from all over the world ranging from the 1950s to present day.
Diegos Barrio Cantina is the couple's favorite go-to restaurant. Just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Newport, this is the best place for street tacos and margs! There's also a Diego's in Downtown Newport located in Bowen's Wharf which is also great!
Basil & Bunny is the bride's guilty pleasure. Located in the cute town of Bristol just across the Mount Hope Bridge, the eatery offers a fully vegan menu specializing in everyone's favorite comfort foods. Be sure to check out Pivotal Brewing right across the way!
