A little history.
Boca Raton was the vision of American architect, Addison Mizner. With his Mediterranean and Spanish revival style, Mizner was commissioned by the town council in 1925 to develop a world class resort. In 1926, he completed the Cloister Inn at The Boca Raton.
The Addison, our wedding venue, was built by Mizner and served as an example of his work as well as his sales office and living space for future development. He continued to develop Boca into a thriving metropolis and to this day, his style is not only prevalent in Boca, but scattered along the South Florida coast!
* Shop, sip and dine in historical Mizner Park! Fabulous restaurants including:

- Kapow - Delicious Pan-Asian with a very upbeat vibe.
- American Social - Sports restaurant/bar.
- Villagio - Delicious Italian in Mizner Park
Other Favorites in the area:

Head 10 minutes South on A1A and visit Deerfield Beach! Favorite spots:
- Whale's Rib - old style, island vibe - the dolphin key west sandwich and whale chips are unforgettable.
- Want something waterfront and a little more upscale but still casual? Try Oceans 234 or JB's - oceanfront dining with a broad menu.
If you rent a car, and have the time, a scenic drive up A1A is well worth a visit. You might get whip lash from all of the beautiful homes on both sides of the road! West Palm is about 35 minutes North - the Ben has a great rooftop restaurant/bar. Drive a little further and view the prettiest water on the coast in Juno. Guanabanas in Jupiter is a great, tropical, waterfront retreat for lunch as well the famous Square Grouper.
* Delray Beach is a 15 minute drive north and offers a public beach, shopping and restaurants.
* Enjoy a round of golf at several local courses open to the public! Or, drive to Delray and visit PopStroke, Tiger's miniature golf course with restaurant and bar. This is not your average putt putt.
