Our story began in Charlotte, NC, where a chance meeting through mutual friends sparked an instant connection between us. From the moment we met, we felt an undeniable draw to each other, and little did we know, this was just the beginning of our incredible journey together.

Our first date was filled with delightful surprises. After a wonderful dinner and drinks, Connor whisked Madison away to a playoff hockey game. While we chatted about line dancing, we were blissfully unaware of the game. When the Cotton Eye Joe song played, Madison couldn't resist dancing, and the mascot and jumbo tron quickly followed her lead. In a moment of pure spontaneity, Madison's exuberance led to a fall on camera, which they played over and over again. This is a moment we look back on with laughter and affection.

Our story is also filled with charming quirks and endearing moments. A few days after our first date, Connor, the handyman, offered to help Madison fix her dryer. In a classic mix-up, he learned that the first step in fixing the dryer was to unplug it. The laughter and lightheartedness of that day became a symbol of our relationship—Madison fell for Connor's kind heart and clever wit, and Connor set the spark that ignited our love.

We quickly discovered our shared passions—traveling to new destinations, indulging in culinary adventures, playing golf and pickleball, and enjoying long walks. Our weekends are often filled with laughter and joy as we explore new places and create cherished memories together.

The most unforgettable moment of our journey so far was the proposal. Connor chose the anniversary of our first date to pop the question, and he did it in a place that holds special meaning for us—the Ballantyne Hotel. As we arrived, Madison was blissfully unaware, blaring Taylor Swift's "Love Story" in the car. Little did she know, Connor had planned the perfect surprise to make this day unforgettable.
