This story goes back to Freshman year of college. Each year the new sorority members are serenaded by the new fraternity members of each house right after they join. It just so happens that Kappa Kappa Gamma was the first house Pike serenaded - and as all the girls stood there wondering what was about to happen - Max went right up to Madison. After a very enthusiastic (and sweaty) serenade, Pike had to move on to the next sorority, and the two didn't have a chance to talk. Senior year rolled around and they found themselves at a mutual friends house for a party at the beginning of the semester. Max and Madison met (again), got to talking, made a few jokes about how Max serenaded Madison all those years ago and the rest is history! :)
