An old brewery that has been converted into several restaurants, shops, and bars. There is also a big open area for people to hang out and walk around. The Hotel Emma is in the Pearl and you can stop in for a drink and look around. On Saturday and Sunday mornings you can go to the market there for free. The Riverwalk is also accessible from this area.
A fun park with a nice shaded play area and splash pad for kids. For adults there are plenty of places to eat, shop, and stop for a drink. It is also close to the Riverwalk so you can get onto the Riverwalk without having to park right in the middle of the downtown area. There is cheap parking close by at the Martinez lot.
Enjoy the main stretch of the San Antonio Riverwalk downtown! Lots of great restaurants including some delicious Tex-mex and BBQ. If you're lucky you may even see some mariachi bands out playing. There's also Rivercenter Mall, mini golf, boat tours, and much more. There are lots of city parking lots and garages available for parking downtown.
Check out Mission San Jose, one of the missions in San Antonio, probably the most well maintained. The church and many of the buildings are still intact. See the remnants of when the Spanish settlers first came to Texas and learn about some of the history of San Antonio.
One of Zach and Maddie's favorite BBQ restaurants in San Antonio. The atmosphere is great and the food is even better! Lots of seating indoors and outdoors, and even a playground out back for kids. Definitely worth a try!
One of Zach and Maddie's top recommendations for Tex-mex food in the area. The interior is meant to look like a little town and the food is very good as well!
