Summer time in Downtown Ketchikan is full of activities with great food and lots of gift shops for souvenirs to take home!
Settlers Cove has trails, beaches, waterfalls, and picnic areas for public use. Located just past mile post 18 on the North Tongass Highway. It's about a 20 minute drive from the airport ferry terminal area.
Knudson Cove Marina has a lot to offer for the adventuresome outdoors type! Sea kayak and stand up paddle board rentals are available. As well as skiff and hard top boat rentals if you are interested in getting out to see what all Clover Pass has to offer.
A pretty beach closer to town. Be sure to check the tides.
The Ward Lake Recreational Area has an abundance of hiking trails to choose from varying in difficulty.
Totem Bight Park showcases some of the Alaskan Native history. There are walking trails to totem poles, a clan house and a museum about Southeast Alaska.
